Second Grade Second Quarter News
Wow where has the year gone? I can’t believe that Christmas break is almost here. Second grade has recently typed letters to Santa Clause and we will be sending them to the Milan Standard to be printed in the paper so keep an eye out for your child’s letter. We have been working on Unit 3 in Reading and identifying the author’s purpose for writing stories. In Math we have been working on addition with regrouping and will start subtraction soon. In Social Studies we have been learning and identifying the differences between the Plains and Woodland Indians. In writing we have been working on our research project, and the students are excited to have them typed and completed.
