2nd Quarter Awards Assembly
On January 20, 2015, Green City Elementary celebrated accomplishments from the 2nd quarter of school. Students were recognized for perfect attendance for the 2nd quarter. STAR students, those students who show behavioral and academic excellence, were also recognized. Those 3rd-6th grade students who kept all passing grades and raised the percentage in at least one academic area earned a BUG award for Bringing Up Grades.
Those students who earned perfect attendance for the 2nd quarter included Celeste Athon, Jacob Barnes, Raylee Bushnell, Anthony Caballero, Christopher Carter, James Davis, Rannyn Ellsworth,
Gracie Foster, Clare Gordon, Ansil Hale, Evelyn Hale, Ketch Hamar, Jaryn Hatcher, Ivan Littrell, Kasey Lunsford, Olivia Lunsford, Olivia Morris, Maya Murphy, Shayla Noland, Aaron Peavler, Luke Perkins, Marshall Smith, Noah Tipton, Hunter White, Mandy White, Logan Wilkins, and Rylan Waldron.
Star Students were Trayton Shoop, Caiden Hill, Elliott York, Dawsin Magney, Jake Crist, Clare Gordon,Laynee King, Fletalynn Clark, Ansil Hale, Kaden Hatcher, Rustin Branstetter, Dominic Fude, Joel Pickett, Maddie Lunsford, Halley Schoonover and Gracey Gordon.
