Wow! We are half way through 2nd Quarter! Time really does fly when you are having FUN! We are continuing to work on letters and numbers. We have started working on counting to 20. We started out only counting to 10.
We have really been focusing on our names, identifying our name, identifying the letters in our name, and writing our names. I am so proud of the hard work they are doing.
We are just finishing up an unit on The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We have done some counting of the fruits that he ate, retelling the story by putting the pictures in correct order. We painted caterpillars out of egg cartons. The students really like doing the different projects.
In art class, they have had the opportunity to use stencils and make turkeys. It was fun to see how their turkeys turned out.
