Green City Elementary Celebrates 100th Day of School
Today, Green City Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school for the 2015-2016 school year. Students were given a poster to complete which asked them questions such as, "What do you wish you had 100 of?" "What do you NOT want 100 of?" What will it be like in 100 years?" The students were also able to decorate a "shirt" that was on the poster with 100 items of their choice. The students gathered together in the gym and shared their posters with each other. They also had the opportunity to recognize each other for the creativity the had shown on their poster.
I am so excited to have shared 100 days of schools with the students this year. I know the students have worked hard and have learning many things over the last 100 days and will continue to learn in the final 74 days of the school year.
