6th grade!
Reservations for the 6th grade field trip have been made! On May 6th, we will be visiting the state capitol in Jefferson City, and going to the Lohman Building also. We will enjoy our sack lunches at the Nature Center. I am excited for the students to be able to have this opportunity to see the capital of Missouri. More information about the field trip will be sent out closer to time.
The 6th graders have been working hard on their first argumentative writing. They have just finished their first one, and they had to make good arguments about why their friend should move to Green City/Green Castle/Winigan area. They came up with excellent details for why their friend should move here. It was great to see the kids light up when they were writing about all of the great things this community has to offer! We have started our second argumentative writing. This time, the students were able to come up with their own idea on what to write their argumentative piece about.
