Preschool News
Wow I can't believe that we have been in school for 100 days! We celebrated the 100th day by making a trail mix. Each student brought in an item and then they had to count out 10 of each item to make 100. We have started to count by 10s daily during our Math time. They are catching on quickly. We also painted 10 different color of dots to make 100 dots. They really enjoy doing hands on activities.
We are still working hard on our letters and numbers. I have challenged the class that if all the students could verbally spell their name with no mistakes we could do something special, like a movie and popcorn party. I feel that they will accomplish this goal and be ready to tackle the next goal set.
We will be holding our Preschool Advisory meeting on Tuesday at 7:45 am in the library. We will be going over the survey that was sent home to the preschool parents about the preschool program.
