Fourth Grade News
Wow! The end of the school year is fast approaching. I can't believe we have less that 30 days left.
We are gearing up for MAP testing to begin. The students have been dressing in different themes this week and I see they are having a lot of fun with it. It helps to get them excitied about taking the test. MAP testing begins on Monday, April 11th and ends Friday, April 29th. Please help your student by making sure they get plenty of rest and a good breakfast (at home or here at school). Your help is always appreciated.
We are continuing to work on comprehension and reciprocal teaching in Reading. The students work hard to comprehend text as they are reading and we have learned many different strategies to help with that. In Math, we are learning about angles and their measures. We have been working with acute and obtuse angles, and also using a protractor to measure them.
