Launch the media gallery 1 playerStudents in K-6 have been working on their keyboarding skills this year in computer classes. Wait, what? Kindergartners learning keyboarding? Well every step of keyboarding is a process. In Kindergarten students become aware of the keys and identifying letters. Each year we continue to increase the knowledge and skills being learned until we hit 6th grade and students are typing approximately 20 words per minute. Each year we continue to build on their skills so it is a gradual increase and students rely on previous knowledge.
