Students Begin Workstations in Library
Students in grades 2nd-6th have been going to workstations each time they visit the library. Each class begins with a lesson then students break into their groups to go to workstations. Students complete one workstation per library time with a rotation of six stations. In the pictures attached you can view 2nd grade students at the following workstations:
Reading-Students are able to silent read a book on their reading level on the couch or with cushions.
Technology-Working on skills and keyboarding.
Bookmarks-Make your own chevron book mark.
Writing- Students are making their own cards similiar to a football card or baseball card, all about them.
Art Station-Students are encouraged to create their own artwork and be creative.
Team Station-Students were given 100 cups to make a cup stack creation striving to get the highest in inches.
Fun has been had by all and they are ready to know what is coming next!
