6th Grade News!
The Sixth Grade have been reading a lot. We won the reading competition between the 5th and 6th grade! It was a really close race. For their reward on winning, they chose to put make-up on five teachers. This took place during the assembly, that was on October 31st. The kids really enjoyed doing the teachers' make overs.
We have recently been learning the different point-of-views in Reading. They have been making comic strips for each point-of-view. They have really enjoyed doing this activity. A student said, "This is awesome! We are learning but we are having fun doing so!" This is what learning is all about. Learning is to have fun!!
In Math, we are learning on how to convert units of length, capacity, weight, and mass to another. We will be having a scavenger hunt around the room by doing different conversion problems!!
