6th Grade!
In Science, the 6th graders have been learning about ecosystems. They have worked as partners to build their ecosystems. Each pair had a different ecosystem to present. During their presentations they have to label the abiotic and biotic factors that are in their certain ecosystem. They will describe the interactions among and between the factors and the conservation of matter and flow of energy in and out of the ecosystems. They also had to diagram the food web and food chain.
The students have really enjoyed this project and worked really hard. Their ecosystems all look amazing. We are currently in the middle of the presentations, and they have been great, as well!
