First Grade- Read Across America Day
First Graders celebrated Dr. Seuss's Birthday with a 'Read Across America Day' on Friday, March 6th. Guest Readers came to visit and share their favorite books to read aloud. We had Janet Callihan, Mr. Tipton, Mrs. Tipton and 5th grader, Tory, share with us. The students were thrilled to hear the stories and were model listeners. I was very proud of their manners and the attention they gave to our guests. It was a great day to share our love of reading with each other!
