Jr. High Basketball

Jr High basketball practice has started.  We have 15 boys out for the team this year.  4 freshmen, 8 eighth graders, and 3 seventh graders.  We have a grade group returning, with a lot of exciting players.  It will be tough to match last years undefeated season, but if these boys keep up with hard work they have been putting in, they may reach that goal.  Our first game will be Oct. 11 at the Green City Tournament.  Once we start playing games, we will play 3 games a week.  It is a very quick season, so don't miss your chance to watch these boys play.

Preschool News

What a great start to the year!  We have a class of 19 students and we are excited to see how much growth these students make this year!    We have just finished an unit on manners. We practiced passing pretend food around to practice our manners.  They had to ask "Would you like some pizza?" They had to respond, "Yes, please! " or "No, thank you!" They all did very well. We will be starting a feelings unit, start working on learning letters, numbers and identifying our name.
