Halloween in First
Cold temperatures did not stop Mrs. Seaton's and Mrs. Kincanon's First Grade classes from enjoying Halloween. We began by attending the elementary costume parade and contest in the gym. Then we all went back to Mrs. Seaton's room and began our festivities. Our wonderful room mothers had a "build a monster" activity with individual play dough containers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, feathers and pom-poms. The students loved building the silliest and scariest monsters they could. Then we had a witch's hat ring toss. Next, treats bags from local businesses were handed out to take home with the students. Finally, we ate and drank our goodies brought in by students and their parents.Tummy's and hearts were full!
