Websites and Apps

March 25, 2021

March 2021

Hard to believe there at 37 days left of school.

Parent Teachers Conferences are complete. Spring Break is approaching. Easter, Track and Field day, Prom. Graduation and Celebration.  I purposely left off -  COVID!

Many parents asked what websites are good for their kids to use over the summer to keep their learning current and benefit them next year.  Therefore, I asked the teachers to give me a list of what they use. If you need any passwords they used in case your child forgot, please remember to ask them.

Here are some of those sites:

The First grade teacher said - My kids have freckle accounts student.freckle.com and Epic accounts getepic.com. We also use National Geographic Kids and the sites on the Elementary Computers list on the school website.

The Third grade teacher said: My kids also have freckle accounts. Student.freckle.com and we use XtraMathhttps: //xtramath.org/#/signin/classroom in the mornings to work on our math facts.

The Fifth grade teacher said - My kids have freckle accounts, they get on prodigy and we use arcademic skill builders for facts practice.

The Kindergarten teacher listed the following websites and apps: BrainPop.com, SumDog.com, Starfall.com, ABCmouse.com, Storylineonline.net, MathGameTime.com, StudyJams.scholastic.com, TumbleBooks.com, PBS learn & Play, Winky Think Logic Puzzles, Splash Math, Flow Plus/Multi Flow, Bubble Math, and Spelling City.

I like these sites and I use splashlearn.com and starfall.com.

If I did not mention your teacher, that does not mean they do not have any favorite sites.  Just contact them if you need a website idea.

Thank you parents, for all you do and remember…
