5th Grade Prepares Lessons!
During library time, students in 5th grade created lessons to share with the Kindergarten class. They each selected a book to conduct a read aloud and then prepared an activity to go along with the story. Each 5th grader was paired up with a Kindergartner and they read their stories. At the completion of their stories they each conducted an activity of their design. Students were anxious to discuss with students the illustrations of the books and to connect their lives to things similar in to the story. They did an excellent job in preparing and conducting their lessons! Way to go 5th graders.
