From the Math Room
This year had an epic start. The first day of school fell on 8-15-17 which happens to be a Pythagorean Triple!! That makes a math teacher very happy. We have also enjoyed getting back in the swing of things by building relationships with teambuilders. The eclipse added an interesting day into our schedule this year as well. Even though the weather did not cooperate as well as we wanted it was still a memorable and educational experience. The Jr high students receiving Advanced or Proficient on their last years MAP test got to go to Main Event in Kansas City for a day trip. I think everyone had a great time. Thank you to the Administration and Board of Education for making this possible. I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
