Green City R-1 scores a 92.9% on Annual Performance Report
The Green City R-1 School District is pleased to announce they received a 92.9% on the Annual Performance Report. Green City R-1 earned 100% of the points possible in the areas of College and Career Readiness (CCR), Attendance, and Graduation rate. The district also received all possible points in the academic achievement areas of English Language Arts (ELA), Math and Social Studies. In addition, the school district received all possible points in the subgroup achievement in ELA and Math. The district received reduced amount of points in the achievement area and subgroup achievement in Science.
The Annual Performance Report (APR) is produced each year by the Missouri Department of Education. This report analyzes the effectiveness of school districts in 5 areas. Those areas include Academic Achievement, Subgroup Achievement, College and Career Readiness, Attendance, and Graduation. Points are awarded in each area and then used to determine an overall percentage for each school and an overall score for the school district. These points are then use to classify schools. Any school district scoring over 70% is an accredited school district.
