Intervention Program Started in the Elementary
Launch the media gallery 1 playerStarting this week the elementary began an intervention program before school and at lunch. Students who have missing assignments or are not passing a class attend intervention time, after they have went to breakfast. During this time staff members are available to assist with varying subjects to enable students to master the concepts at hand. If students are unable to come before school they then work during the lunch extra recess time to complete missing assignments. Each class has a protected recess time each day that they participate in, but the extra recess before school or at lunch, is being utilized to help students master concepts and create an understanding of activities. This opportunity is allowing students to play an active role in their education and have a voice to ask for assistance when needed.
