High School Academic Team Wins District Title

On April 18th the high school academic team beat North Shelby in the final round to take home the district championship! Districts were held at Novinger this year. Cameron Albrecht was MVP of the district. This title is coming off a Tri-County Conference Tournament win! The conference meet was held on April 11th at Linn County. Most of the team had participated in prom activities the night before and went on little sleep to win the tournament. Cameron was also MVP of the Conference Tournament. I am very proud of this team. We have worked hard to be a competitive team. We are currently 13-2 for the session. We advance to the sectional round of tournament play on April 29th at 5:00 at Green City.
